Att skicka unga människor i fängelse hjälper inte. Du förstör helt enkelt dessa unga människor, du förstör deras utbildning. Och jag har inte sett att en enda person som har suttit i fängelse, har förändrats Han kommer ut och igen... tillbaka till drogerna. Nu kommer han ut mer professionell än när han kom in i fängelset... eftersom det finns experter redan inne i fängelset som vet mer om droger. Han var bara en amatör. Från alla de där människorna får han alla idéerna om andra droger. Allt detta nonsens behövs inte. Domstolarna är inblandade, fängelserna är inblandade, unga människor förstörs. Det är varje regerings plikt att förse människor med någon form av avslappning, någon form av frid, någon form av tystnad. Om du inte kan tillhandahålla meditation, så kan du åtminstone tillhandahålla medicin. För mig, borde droger vara medicin. Och om vi vill, kan vi förändra alla dåliga effekter. Det kan bli en hälsosam sak. Varje söndag morgon, i stället för att gå till kyrkan, tar du bara en trip!

On a certain level, we have a drug store in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the brain can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. He could not tear his eyes from these rays of light; he got the idea that these rays were his new nature, and that in three minutes he would become one of them, amalgamated somehow with them. ‘The repugnance to what must ensue almost immediately, and the uncertainty, were dreadful, he said; but worst of all was the idea, ‘What should I do if I were not to die now? What if I were to return to life again? What an eternity of days, and all mine! How I should grudge and count up every minute of it, so as to waste not a single instant!’ He said that this thought weighed so upon him and became such a terrible burden upon his brain that he could not bear it, and wished they would shoot him quickly and have done with it.’
